Jesus College has been a great home for me during my PhD. I chose Jesus College for a number of reasons – first, the location. We are central enough to be within easy walking distance of most things, but far enough away to avoid the hustle and bustle (and tourists in summer!).

PPE is an unusual course, and the three subjects – Philosophy, Politics and Economics – offer highly-contrasting intellectual styles and challenges. There is great variety and scope for specialization within the course, and you should have little difficulty in selecting papers that meet your intellectual needs and interests.

Jesra is part of the Jerome suite of apps that offer various services and facilities to the College community. To access Jesra, you need to log in with your College username and password.

Jesus College Oxford was founded in 1571 by Hugh Price, a Welsh lawyer, politician and clergyman. In approving the foundation, Queen Elizabeth I appointed herself its Foundress, and Jesus became the first and only Oxford college established during the monarch’s reign.
