The only true exclusion ended up being the husband of his eldest daughter, the reason for which was never stated.

Her parents were born in Madrid, Spain.She was aged 15 or 16 when she met John Wayne, an actor in college still named Marion Morrison, while at a beach party in Balboa, California.
