I appreciate all of their hit singles but that "Battle Born" record is magical. Very romantic, melodic pop/rock. Probably more 80's sounding than the others which is why I like it so much. Will give Imploding.. another listen!

But damn, this album references all of the synthy Mel-rock from the 80's that makes me go ga-ga. Too many to mention. Ok, just a few. lol. Tears for Fears, Talking Heads, Duran Duran and Level 42.
