Institutions that are a member of NC-SARA are authorized to provide online education to students from all SARA states. NC-SARA is a voluntary, regional approach to state oversight of postsecondary distance education.
Hillsborough Community College offers more than 190 different academic degrees, certificates and pathways. Associate in Arts Degrees (AA) are awarded to students who complete university transfer curricula designed to prepare them to enter as juniors at a four-year college or university.
