John Hodiak (16 avril 1914 – 19 octobre 1955) est un acteur américain.. Biographie. Il est né à Pittsburgh, en Pennsylvanie ; ses parents étaient Walter Hodiak (25 octobre 1888 – 21 août 1962) et Anna Pogorzelec (28 février 1888 – 17 octobre 1971).Il était d’ascendance ukrainienne et polonaise. John was de zoon van Walter Hodiak (Oekraïne, 1888 - Verenigde Staten, 1962) en Anna Pogorzelec (Polen, 1888 - Verenigde Staten, 1971) en groeide op in Hamtrack, Michigan. Hij begon op elfjarige leeftijd met acteren in de Oekraïense Grieks-Katholieke Kerk. Toen al was het zijn wens om acteur te worden.
