Grinnell College is very quirky and filled with a competitive, but welcoming student body. The overall vibe to the campus is very "you had to be there" meme. The only issue is the lack of things to do off campus and within the small town of Grinnell. Because it is so rural and small, the isolation can become overbearing sometimes.
