Biografia. Rachele nacque a Predappio, in località Salto, da Agostino Guidi e Anna Lombardi (1853-1925). Ultima di cinque sorelle, era di umilissime origini, essendo figlia di contadini. Frequentò la scuola elementare, dove incontrò per la prima volta Benito Mussolini che, maestro elementare, sostituiva talvolta la madre, Rosa Maltoni.
