A television producer who made memorable game shows in the 1960s and 1970s, he produced beloved programs. Some are still streaming in one form or another, even seven years after his passing.
15 de jun. de 2024 · After leaving ABC, Chuck Barris’ claim to fame was creating both “The Newlywed Game” and “The Dating Game.” Legendary fame show hosts Bob Eubanks and Jim Lange hosted the two iconic television shows. Chuck Barris was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on June 3, 1929 and he died on March 21, 2017 at the age of 87.

23 de jun. de 2024 · In its original incarnation, “The Gong Show” was brought to us by Chuck Barris Productions and ran from 1976 to 1980. While you could technically call it a talent show, what most people remember from it is the absolutely terrible acts.
