17 de jun. de 2024 · In the midst of the Cold War, Colossus, a supercomputer created by the United States to defend the country, discovers the existence of its Soviet alter ego, Guardian. The two systems come into contact, develop their own language, become aware of their own identity and decide to take full power.
So basically a doctor named Forbin makes a supercomputer nsmed Colossus to monitor the American nuclear warheads. Then ut cinnects with its Soviet counterpart, Guardian. Borh supercomouters plot to take over mankind to stop war and succeed in doing so.
Could the events of the movie Colossus: The Forbin Project be seen as an unintended prequel to The Terminator and Skynet? Both involve a massive computer system initially intended to ‘save humans’ that turned malevolent and destructive in the case of The Terminator.

Colossus: The Forbin Project - Best AI breakout movie, way ahead of it's time. Flight of the Navigator - appears to be just a Disney kids movie, but has great time travel plot, and the coolest spaceship ever, notwithstanding the Paul Ruebens voiced computer.
