You can tell they wanted to make it clear this was a new era right off the bat. Much brighter animation, classic music and chase scenes, monsters being guys in a mask again. It's a very fun classic scooby adventure, great movie! I personally prefer the Mook films but I still love legend of the vampire and the other whats new era movies

So in looking for the latter I found the clip from the movie and was reminded of how much I liked this one. But as my my 20 something year old mind does it begins to overthink things compared to when I was a child. It leads to me being baffled by Professor Pembrooke despite me realizing this is both a scooby doo movie and a cartoon.
