Hace 5 días · Yule led an abortive UK tour in 1973, and released a final album under the Velvet Underground name, Squeeze (1973), recorded mostly by Yule with session musicians, before the band dissolved shortly after.
Hace 4 días · Squeeze's first EP and most of their self-titled debut album (1978) were produced by John Cale for A&M Records. Cale had been a member of Velvet Underground from whose album Squeeze took their name.

Hace 3 días · They released two studio albums with this lineup: 1969's The Velvet Underground and 1970's Loaded. Reed left the Velvet Underground in August 1970. The band disintegrated after Morrison and Tucker departed in 1971, and their final album Squeeze was almost entirely Yule's work.

Released on Polydor Records in February 1973 (in Europe only), with minimal promotion ‘Squeeze’, was blasted by critics, with the NME describing it as ‘a Velvet Underground album in name only’.
