"Buzz" Aldrin Jr.) landed in Mare Tranquilitatis (the Sea of Tranquility) on the Moon in the Lunar Module (LM) while the Command and Service Module (CSM) (with CM pilot Michael Collins) continued in lunar orbit.

20 de jun. de 2024 · To answer the "it was animation" part: this was in a talk show. They were discussing the lunar landing, and how millions of people watched it live on TV. Aldrin corrected this with "it was an animation". During the landing, the LM could not transmit video.
