While I respect the comparisons to Courtney Love and Joan Jett, to me, the real-life equivalent of Nana Osaki is Brody Dalle. I have no idea if Ai Yazawa is aware of Brody Dalle or her band, The Distillers, but there are so many similarities not just physically, but sonically as well as their personal histories.
