15 de jul. de 2024 · After playing in parts of seven NHL seasons, Brett Sutter has officially retired. The forward made the announcement via a statement from the AHL’s Calgary Wranglers, whom he’d captained since 2022-23. He said he’d be staying with the Flames’ affiliate as an assistant coach.

18 de jul. de 2024 · Sutter excelled in the AHL and was a leader on numerous teams for most of his career. A warrior in the league, he played in 1090 regular-season games in league, scoring 463 points. Brett will be joining the @AHLWranglers bench as an assistant coach.

I samband med beskedet meddelar även Calgary Wranglers att profilen tar klivet från isen, in i båset.
