11 de jun. de 2024 · I would like to point out that the GameSpy service is not shutting down, that got bought out by a different company a while ago. It's just the blog shutting down. Anyway, it's sad to learn of its demise, and it's surprising to hear it existed in the first place, I never knew about it.

Battlefield 2 is a 2005 PC game developed by DICE. The GameSpy shutdown closed the official multiplayer, but fan alternatives have kept the online active ever since with thousands playing weekly into 2021+. 18 de jun. de 2024 · Gamespy Lite is not working since all their servers were shut down. So if you want to play multiplayer you should install the replacement of Gamespy Lite. Just extract it to your Kingpin/gamespylite folder and overwrite the existing file.
