8 de jun. de 2024 · One of the most iconic songs from the musical “Fiddler on the Roof,” “If I Were a Rich Man” has captivated audiences for decades. Originally sung by Zero Mostel in the 1964 production, the song has since been covered by various artists, including Theodore Bikel.
That took in Ashkenazi Jewish music, particularly that from the Eastern Borderlands of Poland, as well as hassidic music and Yiddish folk songs. She has been disseminating the word of Polish Jewish culture across the globe for some years now, performing in the United States, Canada, and all over Europe.
