Sir Mark, son of the lastnamed, died unmarried in 1705 and was succeeded by his brother Ralph, (fn. 92) who died in 1748 and was succeeded in turn by his son and his grandson Ralph.

Reginald Pole Carew, of Anthony, is representative of the Carews, through the Poles of Shute, in Devonshire, (his paternal ancestors,) and the Rashleighs.
