1 de jul. de 2024 · I am tempted by this boxset (from Blue Note website, so not a grey label), I already have 3 albums out of 5 (A night in Tunisia XRCD Alan, so not expecting improvement!, The Freedom Rider Mcmaster and Free for RVG (one of the good sounding RVGs!)), so would be likely buying for the other two.

15 de jul. de 2024 · Art Blakey made a lasting contribution to jazz, and he will be remembered as one of the greatest jazz drummers of all time. If you’re a drummer, his parts are worth studying, as he’s contributed to some of the best drum songs jazz has to offer.
