Below is summary of findings on the new hookworms I have installed: Original tyres were maxxis advent race 29x2.35. The hookworm tyres are heavier to get up speed on compared to the advent race ones.
has anyone tried to a maxxis hookworm on a carrera Vengeance ? (the green one), did it fit and how much space did you have?

17 de jun. de 2024 · The best road tires for a 29″ mountain bike are Maxxis Hookworms. These are the tires that I have on my 2023 Canyon Exceed CF5, and they’ve been nothing short of fantastic. I love how aggressive they look!
As best I can tell, Maxxis no longer sells the 16" version of their Hookworm, which is what we've used for years, as recommended by Blackbird. I'm looking for a relatively high pressure, (90psi?) relatively fat (around 2.00) tire with a non-knobby tread.
15 de jun. de 2024 · The Schwalbe Pick-Up and Super Moto-X along with the Maxxis Hookworm (2.5" wide) are the main tires I use when riding on paved surfaces. Personally I prefer to run a tire that is certified to the ECE-R75 spec for 50 kph/31 mph.
