White Heat is the self titled debut album of future Switch members Gregory Williams, Bobby DeBarge and Jody Sims. The album was released in 1975 and produced by R&B notable Barry White.

Williams, Bobby DeBarge, and Sims had been members of White Heat, which released a self-titled album on RCA in 1975, but the band's producer, Barry White, soon shuttered his Soul Unlimited production company and dropped all the acts on the roster.
8 de abr. de 2022 · At this point in time, White Heat featured (to my knowledge) four future Switch members: Bobby DeBarge, Gregory Williams, Jody Sims, and Phillip Ingram. The eight-member band was also under the tutelage of of Barry White for the moment. And this album shows that tutoring strongly.
Soul funk group. Served as backing band of Barry White. In 1976, White dropped them because of a tax problem and kept one of the group's saxophonists as part of Love Unlimited Orchestra. Bobby DeBarge, Gregory Wiliams, Jody Sims and Philip Ingram continued as Hot-Ice and eventually formed Switch (6).

27 de feb. de 2019 · When you see a switch connecting white and black directly, this is a "switch loop", where hot was brought to the fixture first, then down to the switch; the switched hot is brought back up to the fixture.
