12 de feb. de 2021 · I sought out her first solo album because Clarence White and Ry Cooder played on it, but then I got intrigued. I got her compilation album Midnight at the Oasis : The Collection which is 25 tracks, almost exclusively from the 70s I believe.

1 de dic. de 2021 · It was kind of the label for the funky/artsy/rootsy people, like Ry Cooder. They weren’t even particularly interested in having “hit” records. They just liked the album projects.
She hung out with Dylan, had Ry Cooder, Stefan Grossman, Geoff Muldaur, David Grissman, John Sebastian and the Grateful Dead play behind her. Yet, she is by no means a nostalgia act. Yes, still sings “Oasis” at her shows, but make no mistake, she is the real deal today.
