Evan Sult is now based in New York City and since 2013 has drummed for the indie rock duo Sleepy Kitty. Founding bassist Aaron Huffman died of respiratory failure due to cystic fibrosis on March 6, 2016, at age 43.

17 de ago. de 2023 · Evan Sult and Paige Brubeck, otherwise known as the rock duo Sleepy Kitty, grew their band into a national force from their live/work space on Cherokee Street. A few years after relocating to Brooklyn, Sult and Brubeck look back at St. Louis with a new album.

26 de ene. de 2023 · After about a year, they recruited Evan Sult to play the drums (which he learned how to do for the band). Sult was friends with Nelson, who had always wanted to be a lead singer. Eventually, the four became roommates, all living in the same house and playing together.
13 de dic. de 2013 · I’m Evan Sult with the band Sleepy Kitty. I’m currently based in St. Louis and Chicago, but I started playing drums in Seattle in 1991. The music scene was exploding, of course, and I dove right in, teaching myself to play on my roommate’s abandoned drumset.
