Taipei Municipal Chien Kuo High School (CKHS; Chinese: 臺北市立建國高級中學), also historically known as Taipei Municipal Jianguo High School, is a public high school for boys located in Zhongzheng District, Taipei, Taiwan. The school was established in 1898 during the early years of Japanese rule.

大戰期間學生忙於操練. 一九 年，一群本校（台北一中）學生有感於學校持續發展的重要性，在一個偶然促膝長談的時刻，創立一個以台北南門——麗正城門為名的團體（麗正會），並得到學校的支持，規定全校同學和未來各屆學弟都是當然會員。 這種用地標命名的方式，在當時與台大（台北帝大）醫學院學生因靠近台北東門——景福城門而成為「景福」會員的方式，同時傳為美談。 一九二一年以前，本校為日籍學生就讀的中學校，因學生背景相似，管教方式較單純。 當時學生必須全部住校，每宿舍設有寮長及寮監，高年級學生為「寮兄」，其言行舉止是低年級的模範，學務工作採取「學校家庭化」的設計，此一制度奠定日後「學長制」的基礎。 日本人的中學校一直是修業五年，自一九四二年起，一律縮短為四年。
該校經決議於2023年將英文全銜恢復為「 Taipei Municipal Chien Kuo High School 」。 校歌 [編輯] 建國中學校歌由趙友培作詞，李君重作曲。歌詞中「看！我們重建燦爛的新中華。」、「同學們！同學們！同學們！努力奮鬥同建大中華。」兩句也呼應著校名「建國」二字。

Taipei Municipal Jianguo High School is a high school for boys located in Zhongzheng District, Taipei City, Taiwan. The school was established in 1898 during the Japanese occupation of Taiwan, and was the Taipei First High School, the first public high school in Taiwanese history.
