Douglas Allen Woody (October 3, 1955 – August 25, 2000) [1] was an American bass guitarist best known for his eight-year tenure in the Allman Brothers Band and as a co-founder of Gov't Mule .
Jimmy Herring (born January 22, 1962) is an American guitarist, known as the lead guitarist for the band Widespread Panic since 2006. He is a founding member of Aquarium Rescue Unit and Jazz Is Dead and has played with The Allman Brothers Band , Project Z , Derek Trucks Band , Phil Lesh and Friends , and The Dead .
