Urszula Bogumiła Dudziak-Urbaniak (born 22 October 1943) is a Polish jazz vocalist. She has worked with Krzysztof Komeda, Michał Urbaniak (her ex-husband), Gil Evans, Archie Shepp, and Lester Bowie. In 2007, her 1970s song "Papaya" gained widespread popularity in Asia and Latin America.

Jazz vocalist, born 22 October 1943 in Straconka, Poland. She started her career in the late 1950's in Poland and moved to the USA in 1973. Already gifted with a remarkable five-octave vocal range, Dudziak employs electronic devices to extend still further the possibilities of her voice.
4 de nov. de 2018 · Still at secondary school, the young Dudziak could only perform during her summer holidays but she was already making an impact on the jazz scene, leading the first lady of Polish jazz at the time, Wanda Warska to comment that Urszula was “A bit infantile, but very promising.”
