Cedar's Blues is a live album by pianist Cedar Walton's Quintet recorded in 1985 and released on the Italian Red label.
He was one of the house drummers for Blue Note Records and played on dozens of Blue Note albums of the 1960s. [3] He also collaborated with composer La Monte Young and guitarist Sandy Bull . In his career, he played on over 700 recordings, including recordings of rock and funk.
Billy Higgins partnership and The Magic Triangle Walton played and recorded with drummer Billy Higgins from the mid-1960s through the 1990s. Higgins and Walton first recorded together in 1965 for Eddie Harris's The In Sound LP, and Higgins played on Walton's first album, Cedar!
