The Sheik of Scrubby Creek is the debut album of country singer Chad Morgan, released in 1958 through Columbia Records. The title refers to Morgan's well-known nickname. Two early tracks "The Sheik of Scrubby Creek" and "You Can Keep Your Wimmln and I'll Stick to My Beer" were recorded by November 1952.

Chad, known fondly as “The Sheik of Scrubby Creek”, released his first album in 1952 and is renowned for his vaudeville style of comic country and western songs, and goofy stage persona. Chad is the ultimate comic of Australian country music.
In reference to his first recording, he is known as "The Sheik of Scrubby Creek". In February 2024, Morgan announced his retirement after his final performance of Farewell to Australia tour on 21 April 2024, at age 91.
