Soon after the album's release, personal problems arose between the band and long-time drummer Shal Khichi which resulted in his departure from the band. He was replaced by former Skinnerbox , Mephiskapheles , and Murphy's Law drummer, Michael McDermott.

The band was formed by Greg Attonito (vocals), Pete Steinkopf aka The Pete (guitar), Bryan Kienlen aka Papillon (bass) and Shal Khichi (drums). The lineup has stayed consistent with the exception of the drummer.

Upon graduation and after years of struggling to find a label to release their records, friends Greg Attonito (vocals), Pete Steinkopf (guitar), Bryan Kienlen (bass), and Shal Khichi (drums) got some money together and -- in true D.I.Y. fashion -- formed Chunksaah Records in 1993.
