Transglobal Underground made a return to the UK stage in 2022, finally being able to play 'Walls Have Ears' live, and have been touring regularly since then, the lineup being centered around Whelan, Mantu, Mukherjee, Tuup and percussionist Rav Neiyyar, with Natacha Atlas still guesting on occasion.
Through recording with ¡Loca!, she met Nation-labelmates Transglobal Underground, a British ethnic electronica band with a Middle Eastern/South Asian focus. At the time, Transglobal Underground had a top 40 hit, "Templehead", and Atlas became their lead singer and belly dancer.

The sessions marked the first appearance of vocalist Natacha Atlas, who had recently departed from Invaders of the Heart. She gave a performance that reduced the whole studio to tears, then capped it by belly dancing round the control room wearing a copy of the Daily Mirror.
