Olympe Pélissier (1797-1878) fue una modelo para artistas, cortesana y la segunda esposa del celebérrimo compositor italiano Gioachino Rossini. La pareja se casó el 16 de agosto de 1846. Biografía. Nació como hija ilegítima en París de una joven soltera, que luego se casó con Joseph Pélissier.
Olympe Pélissier (9 May 1799 – 22 March 1878) was a French artists' model and courtesan and the second wife of the Italian composer Gioachino Rossini. She sat for Vernet for his painting of Judith and Holofernes .
It is not clear when Rossini and Olympe Pélissier first met. Whenever that was, the relationship itself appears to have taken root in 1832. A letter to Honoré de Balzac in January invited him to supper in the company of Rossini.

Biografia. Sota la Restauració francesa, Pélissier va ser una figura notable en la societat de París, admirada pel Comte de Girardin, encarregant-se de salons atesos pel Baron Schikler, i el 1830 mantenint un romanç amb Honoré de Balzac.
