Jason Falkner (born June 2, 1968) is an American songwriter, musician, and guitarist who was a member of the bands Jellyfish, the Three O'Clock, and the Grays. Since 1996, he has released six solo albums, starting with Presents Author Unknown.
Lapalco is the second album by American singer-songwriter Brendan Benson, released in 2002. The name "Lapalco" is in reference to Lapalco Boulevard, a major highway which runs through Harvey, Louisiana, where Benson spent part of his youth.

His connection with Goodrich paid off with a gig playing bass for Air, both on 2001's 10,000 Hz Legend album and on-stage. It wasn't a full-time job, though, leaving Falkner with time to work again with Brendan Benson on his 2001 Lapalco album and Travis on their record The Invisible Band.
The power pop resurgence of the 90s continued unabated into the early 2000s, yielding a number of albums like Brendan Benson’s “Lapalco” that achieved some indie success upon release, but were largely forgotten by the end of the decade.
Consisting of Benson's work with Jellyfish's Jason Falkner and a lavish recording session with Ethan Johns (known these days for his work with Ryan Adams), One Mississippi received massive critical praise. But when he was told to stop touring behind it, Benson knew the record was done.
