John David Morris (7 December 1946 – 29 January 2023) was an American young earth creationist. He was the son of "the father of creation science", Henry M. Morris, and served as president of the Institute for Creation Research (ICR) from the time of his father's retirement in 1996 until 2020.
Dr. John Morris, perhaps best known for leading expeditions to Mt. Ararat in search of Noah's Ark, received his Doctorate in Geological Engineering at the University of Oklahoma in 1980. He served on the University of Oklahoma faculty before joining the Institute for Creation Research in 1984.

19 de ago. de 2013 · Now, that’s a familiar name in these parts: John D. Morris is the son of Henry M. Morris, founder and first president of the Institute for Creation Research. John succeeded Henry as president in 1996 as his father reached his declining years (the elder Morris died in 2006).
