Ruts/RutsDC The Ruts, later known as Ruts DC, are an English punk rock band, notable for the 1979 UK hit single "Babylon's Burning", and an earlier single "In a Rut", which was highly regarded and regular.
The Ruts were formed on 18 August 1977. The band consisted of singer Malcolm Owen (vocals), Paul Fox (guitar), John "Segs" Jennings (bass) and Dave Ruffy (drums).
