Iwan Gwyn Thomas MBE (born 5 January 1974) is a Welsh sprinter who represented Great Britain and Northern Ireland at the Olympic Games in the 400 metres, and Wales at the Commonwealth Games. Thomas is a former European, Commonwealth Games and World (4 × 400 m relay) champion.

Iwan Thomas is a former 400m runner who won Olympic silver and gold in the 4x400m relay. He also won European and Commonwealth gold in 1998, but suffered from injuries and false starts. He now works as a TV presenter and a Gatorade ambassador.
