Karen Georgievich Shakhnazarov (Russian: Каре́н Гео́ргиевич Шахназа́ров; born 8 July 1952) is a Soviet and Russian filmmaker, producer, screenwriter and Kremlin propagandist. He became the director general of Mosfilm in 1998.
