Neither son had children, and Mozart's direct bloodline ended when his older surviving son, Karl, died on October 31, 1858, at 74.

Ambos se casaron el 4 de agosto de 1782 y en nueve años tuvieron 6 hijos, de los cuales solo dos sobrevivieron: Karl Thomas y Franz Xaver Wolfgang.
