Mosima Gabriel "Tokyo" Sexwale (Venda:; born March 5, 1953) is a South African businessman, politician, anti-apartheid activist, and former political prisoner. Sexwale for many years was imprisoned on Robben Island for his anti-apartheid activities, alongside figures such as Nelson Mandela.
Tokyo Sexwale was a member of the Black Consciousness Movement in the late 1960s before he joined the ANC in the 1970s. He served 13 years on Robben Island for his political activities before being released in 1990.
