Edward Harley, 2nd Earl of Oxford and Earl Mortimer (2 June 1689 – 16 June 1741) was an English Tory politician and peer who sat in the House of Commons of Great Britain from 1711 to 1724.

In his early career in Parliament he was a man to be reckoned with on the ‘Country’ side of the House, especially as a spokesman for the ‘moral reform’ lobby, and even in his latter years occasionally embodied his brother’s Puritan conscience.
