Seán Patrick O'Malley OFM Cap (born June 29, 1944) is an American cardinal of the Catholic Church who has been archbishop of Boston in Massachusetts since 2003. A member of the Order of Friars Minor Capuchin, he was made a cardinal by Pope Benedict XVI in 2006.
