In this study, we synthesized rhodamine 6G-based dye sensors following published methods. P15 and P41 undergo Schiff-base condensation in 1:2 ratio, while only P45 undergo Schiff-base condensation in 1:1 ratio. All reactions took place with ethanol as a solvent. Highly purified products with good yields have been collected from the solution.
