Apocalypse Bird will appear as soon as the three birds ( Punishing Bird, Big Bird, and Judgement Bird) enter an Abnormality called Entrance To The Black Forest. You will not be able to pause, change the speed of time flowing, or press ESC when a certain egg is not suppressed yet.
When fighting, you should be watching apocalypse bird as often as possible. This is to make sure any hypnotized employees can be ordered to run out of the room as soon as they reach it. Have a strong agent or two standing by near the abnormalities that you really don't want to escape, like Censored.
