From 1995 to 1997, Philip Johnson and Costas Kondylis renovated the building into the current Trump International Hotel and Tower. Cantor Seinuk served as the structural engineers for the renovation. The 44-story building is 583 ft (178 m) tall and is designed with 610,000 sq ft (57,000 m 2).
28 de jul. de 2023 · The Seagram Building was primarily designed by Mies van der Rohe and Philip Johnson, with the help of the architects Ely Jacques Kahn and Robert Allan Jacobs. Phyllis Lambert, the daughter of Seagram CEO Samuel Bronfman, also had a say in the design of the building.

The building’s exterior, defined by its curtain wall, was the work of architect Philip Johnson. Determined to reshape the building’s city image, Johnson slightly altered the building’s volumetrics, folding the facade into tiny triangular protrusions running from ground to roof.
In 1941, Johnson designed and built his first building, a house at 9 Ash Street in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The house, strongly influenced by Mies van der Rohe, has a wall around the lot which merges with the structure. [21]
