Anton Corbijn is a Dutch photographer, filmmaker, and video artist. He is best known for his black-and-white portraits of artists shot with slow shutter speeds to allow for the subtle movements and gestures of his subjects.
Anton Johannes Gerrit Corbijn van Willenswaard (Strijen; 20 de mayo de 1955) es un fotógrafo y director neerlandés de videos musicales, entre ellos «Personal Jesus» de Depeche Mode (1989), «One» de U2 y «Heart-Shaped Box» de Nirvana (1993).
Corbijn began his career as a music photographer when he saw the Dutch musician Herman Brood playing in a café in Groningen around 1975. He took a lot of photographs of the band Herman Brood & His Wild Romance and these led to a rise in fame for Brood and in exposure for Corbijn.
