Geoff Downes es un tecladista de rock británico. Biografía. Geoffrey Downes nació el 25 de agosto de 1952 en Stockport, Gran Mánchester, Inglaterra. Geoffrey Downes (born 25 August 1952) is an English keyboardist who gained fame as a member of the new wave group the Buggles with Trevor Horn, the progressive rock band Yes, and the supergroup Asia. Born in Stockport , Downes moved to London to pursue a music career.
Geoff Downes, né le 25 août 1952 à Stockport en Angleterre est un claviériste britannique qui a œuvré avec les groupes The Buggles, Yes et Asia. Il a aussi enregistré avec le bassiste John Wetton, en parallèle à leur travail avec Asia, plusieurs albums sous le nom d'Icon.

The pair now return with their 4th studio album titled Halcyon Hymns, out on Feb 5th. The album is the follow-up to their 2017 release Skyscraper Souls.
