27 de may. de 2021 · British eyewear designer, Tom Davies, has created over 100 frames for Disney’s latest film, Cruella. The film tells the story of the early days and evolution of one of Disney’s most notorious villains, Cruella de Vil (played by Emma Stone).
21 de jul. de 2021 · Hundreds of frames were stolen, valued at around £500,000, including six frames designed for the Cruella film. The Cruella frames had been due to be auctioned for charity and the designer has put up ‘Wanted’ posters around London seeking the return of the frames.
Cruella, set in 1970s London’s buzzing fashion scene, tells the story of the transformation of young Estella (Emma Stone) from an aspiring designer into the notorious Cruella de Vil. Tom was initially called in to create frames for just the Baroness (Emma Thompson).
