Gunsmoke. Marshal Matt Dillon (then-newcomer James Arness) tries to prevent lawlessness from overtaking Dodge City, Kansas. Helping to keep him grounded are saloon proprietor Miss Kitty Russell and Doc Adams. The television series grew out of the long-running radio serial of the same name, although for a short time they were both on the airwaves.
I Thee Wed: Directed by Jesse Hibbs. With James Arness, Dennis Weaver, Milburn Stone, Amanda Blake. A man beats his wife and is sentenced to fifty days or fifty dollars by the judge. The beaten woman scrapes together the money for her husband's fine, only to be beaten again.
Sat, Feb 19, 1966. Festus has a habit of using the wishbone from a dead chicken for making wishes on. When he comes across Doc Adams, alone and snakebit, he uses that wish to help him, if it can. Meanwhile, Matt searches for three outlaws who held up a stage, killing the driver and guard. 8.8/10 (203)

5 de may. de 2020 · Gunsmoke was a series that aired between 1955-1975 starring James Arness as Matt Dillon, Milburn Stone as Doc, Amanda Blake as Miss Kitty, Dennis Weaver as Chester (1955-1964), Ken Curtis as Festus (1959-1975), Burt Reynolds as Quint (1962-1965) as well as a who's-who of hundreds of others who appeared as young actors who became stars throughout the 20 seasons.
