Lolita es una película dirigida por Adrian Lyne, protagonizada por Jeremy Irons y Dominique Swain estrenada en 1997. La película es una adaptación de la novela homónima de Vladimir Nabokov. Esta novela ya había sido llevada al cine anteriormente por Stanley Kubrick en 1962 también con el nombre de Lolita.

Synopsis. Set in the 1950's USA - 'Lolita' is the prison memoir of a European Professor, Humbert Humbert (Jeremy Irons). Haunted by the death of his first love Annabel when he was just a youth. Humbert met Annabel (Emma Griffiths-Malin) in Cannes, France in 1921 where he worked at a hotel. Humbert was 14 years old and so was Annabel.
He becomes instantly infatuated with her twelve-year-old daughter Dolores, also known as Lolita. Humbert follows Lolita’s moves constantly, occasionally flirts with her, and confides his pedophiliac longings to a journal.
