Review by PUNQ ★★. As most say about The White Sister. Watch the 1923 silent version with Lillian Gish and Ronald Colman. That one made a much stronger impression. 10 years later Clark Gable and Helen Hayes do watchable performances, but with one major flaw. Hayes isn't a Gable-type gal, and Gable is not a Hayes-type guy.
