Review by Jens S. ★★★★. Raimi apparently saw no point to send young people into another cabin infested by evil itself, so instead he sent his lone survivor back to the middle ages. None of this makes sense, there are plenty of logical flaws and bridging errors. But man, is this fun.

So are the severed limbs, geysers of blood, etc. The movie isn't as funny or entertaining as "Evil Dead II," however, maybe because the comic approach seems recycled.
