Angie’s List ★★★★★. Such a great movie. So provocative for a 1933 film. And to hear the backstory of all the censorship the studio had to go through to get it into theaters adds to its appeal. Barbara Stanwyck is so convincing in this part and she will do what she needs in order to survive in a man’s world.
